A post that turns out to be wrong is corrected where it stands, with the change stated, and one overtaken by later evidence stays up. Quietly editing and re-dating would make the archive worthless as a record.
Nothing here describes how the pipeline is built beyond what the published reports state on their own pages. The method is the product, and the reports are where it is documented.
