Full-Stack Engineer

Build the product people see: the screens, the API behind them and the design system they are made from.

Saarbrücken, hybrid · Full-time · Start: January 2027

The role

You build what people use on our decision-intelligence platform, end to end. Users set up a research question, watch AI agents work on it live, review the findings and read the final report. You make each step clear, fast and accessible, from the component to the API behind it.

Why this role

  • You own the whole product surface, design system included, not one corner of it.
  • Interesting interface problems: live AI runs, long-running jobs and human review in one flow.
  • Your design system becomes the foundation every future screen is built on.

What you will do in your first year

  • Own the design system: a versioned design-token contract, several switchable visual themes and a library of atomic components that every screen uses.
  • Ship the core flows end to end, screen and API: setting up a question, a live monitor for long-running AI research runs, the human review steps and the report view.
  • Build the console where people approve which sources the platform may use, plus account, admin and sign-in flows.
  • Keep every theme accessible, with colour contrast checked automatically in CI.
  • Work with the engineer who builds our simulation and forecasting layer on how reports and forecasts are shown.

What you bring

  • Several years designing and owning production web products end to end. Show us one.
  • React and TypeScript on the frontend; Python (FastAPI or similar) with Postgres on the backend.
  • Design-system work: tokens, theming, and a component library others build on (Storybook or similar).
  • Interfaces for complex workflows: forms, long-running jobs, review and approval steps.
  • Tests across the stack (Vitest, Testing Library, Playwright, pytest).
  • You turn a vague goal into a precise work order an AI coding agent can build from, and you can show us a time you caught an agent’s code or tests being wrong.

Nice to have

Temporal; single sign-on (OIDC, Keycloak or Entra ID); data visualisation (ECharts, D3); forms driven by JSON Schema; accessibility audits.

Apply.
